Saudi Arabia Implementing New Visa Application Fee for Umrah

Saudi Arabia will launch new visa fees that can effect on Sunday after the Islamic New Year (AH) as part of the campaign to reduce dependence on oil revenues.

Visa fees include all tourists, religious and commercial - with the exception of those travellers in the country to perform Umrah 2019 or Hajj for the first time.

The visa fee will rise to SR2,000 (the Saudi Riyals) for a single entry, while the rate of multiple entry visas will SR3,000 for the six-month visa, the visa SR5,000 for a year, SR8, 000 for the two-year visa.

It will also conduct SR300 transit visa fees.

At a time when the Saudi Arabia visa was supported less dependence on oil, the move comes as an effective way to relieve the pressure on the government at a time when oil prices are low.
